ABOUT THE VACANCY
As a Windows Phone 7 SDK developer you will focus primarily on building a SDK platform for in-app analytics. This should be your next career step if you have a passion for building applications and are looking for a new challenge. You will be part of a new team within Distimo shaping the in-app analytics. You will be involved in developing the SDK and thereby using your experience in building WP7 applications. You need to think beyond with a constant drive for improvement and innovation. You will work in a small venture where you’re exposed to a team of bright people who combine their knowledge in order to improve our software. You keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies.
CORE TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
- Work on a small SDK team of 2-3 brilliant engineers doing releases every 5 weeks
- Build Distimo SDKs for all major mobile platforms (including WP7, android etc.)
- Design highly efficient protocols to transfer data over wireless networks
- Test your builds on all the latest and hottest mobile devices
YOUR PROFILE
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have 2 years of experience in building applications for WP7 and have extensive knowledge of .Net. Furthermore you have experience with Java Linux, MySQL and multithreaded programming. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Finally, you have a strong ‘can-do’ mentality and pro-active attitude and the drive to accomplish tasks in a dynamic environment.
