ABOUT THE VACANCY
As a front-end developer you will focus primarily on the presentation of data in Distimo Monitor, as service for app-developers. You will be involved in all stages of development within our front-end team, from specification to design, development, testing, debugging and maintenance. You will work in a small development team where you’re exposed to bright people who combine their knowledge in order to improve our software. You have extensive experience and keep yourself up to date with various open source technologies.
CORE TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
- Invent, design and implement new features for the Distimo Monitor.
- update & improve the existing code in current web applications.
- Stay up-to-date with new emerging technologies in the field of web development.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced PHP development, HTML, Javascript and other frequently used technologies. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess a customer directed work posture and are fluent in English. Finally, you have a strong ‘can-do’ mentality, a pro-active attitude and the drive to accomplish complex tasks in a dynamic environment.
