Hardware manufacturer LG Electronics announced to open a premium paid app service for US customers this month.
The premium paid app service, LG SmartWorld is already available in the United Kingdom since July. The service is said to be launched in the United States this month, and will complement the site which currently offers free apps in 39 countries.

The store has a “zone” specially dedicated to 3D content (left side of the picture). This 3D Zone offers premium 3D videos, games, etc., exclusively designed for LG 3D Smart Phones.
According to the report on MobileBusinessBriefing, Jongseok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics, said: “our goal with the addition of paid premium apps is to make LG SmartWorld a seamless gateway to the best content currently available for our Android smartphones.”
