We have just come back from the Verizon Developer Community Conference in Las Vegas. At the conference we gave a presentation titled: “Pricing for success: app industry trends and best practices.” The presentation covered the latest trends in application pricing and monetization and how developers can best respond to these trends.

The three main topics of the presentation were:

1. App pricing, or the one-off fee of apps.
2. New monetization strategies becoming the key revenue driver.
3. Cannel fragmentation: going beyond mobile.
